This Riverside team has won 1 and lost 2 to Huntingdon the last 2 years. Riverside has the core back as does the Mustangs. Riverside has a history of making a lot of mistakes against the Mustangs. Mustangs beat the Panthers 33-7 in their 1st meeting last year so I don't see Riverside as a clear favorite as most folks do. Whoever makes the fewest mistakes wins this matchup!

I got your back on the RS and HC thing. That’s why I’ve never argued them being ahead of Riverside. Although I do believe in a 4 qtr game Hardin county would win. Just my opinion. Would have loved to

Union City can't beat Huntingdon that was proved twice last year and I'm sure Huntingdon brought back more starters. Huntingdon keeps getting judged on their week 1 performance and it's fine. Idc but I think that's crazy. Union Citys best chance of the 3 would probably be milan and I don't think they win that either. I don't think they think they win that either ergo the drop to 1A.

Unless 13 is running the ball. Riverside is the clear cut favorite. Y'all may have beat them 33-7 in game one but I'm fairly sure Thomas didn't start that game at rb.

Thomas is an outstanding possession type RB. Not a home run hitter though, he's not gonna run away from folks. # 12 from Huntingdon to me is very underrated. Very solid and can take it to the house! Mustang RB's are a strength just as Panthers backs are. How many D1 schools have offered Thomas?

I don't think he has any d1 offers but idk. Thomas doesn't have to be a 1 carry home run hitter though that's not his game. He's going to grind you out and between him and the o line they'll leave a lot of teams ready to tap midway thru the 3rd. I think Huntingdon and milan might have as good of a shot as anyone in the state to take them out. Even so imo riverside has to be the favorite in either matchup.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
