The ADs are already part of the pre game meeting with officials.  They also have duties during the game itself with game administration.

You are correct. I would say that it would be easier though to add on the non coaching aspects a HC has to an AD than an assistant or coordinator. Pre game meeting can be done with one person killing two birds with one stone. Since he would not be calling plays if there was a clock malfunction that could be handled with ease. All that is, is a phone call to the press box anyway.

you obvioiusly havent followed OR closely.  Most conspiracies would be warranted at this point.
