Pearl Cohn Vs Station Camp

Big win for SC without both of there stars good time win. I’m pretty sure station camp is putting all the cards on the table this coming week. I remember PC freshman playing station camp freshman and the SC coach’s was HIGH on the QB and RB/LB. Full cycle they’re leading the mid state in rushing. This should be a real test for PC front 7.

Idk swipes. 4 and that QB is the real deal. Sumner county folks was talking like SC is about to take over 4a ball. They won only 1 game but a lot better then most teams

From what I’ve seen of y’all this year, I don’t think the Firebirds will be challenged until the ship game in Chat. PC the goods this year!

They might be but it’s hard to make plays when PC will have pressure on them all night.  Sumner County fans might have thought that moving from 5a to 4a would help but they are probably more humble now and see them as the 3rd or 4th seed coming out of your conference.  PC will be fine and expect them to make it back to Chattanooga this year out of the west

I agree, Pearl Cohn is the cream of the crop on the West side of the bracket. They will walk to Chatt this year. Don't be surprised if they bring the gold ball back this year as well. They bring so much experience back off of that team that pushed a very good Anderson County to the brink last year.

I agree with this. As much as i would love to see Haywood make it, i just don't believe it will happen. I'm not sure they will make it to the semis. If PC brings back much at all, I can definitely see them with the Gold Ball.

    • Worst thing SC could do is get rid of Dyer. I agree with everything said above.
    • Jada Hart, Jasmine Bailey and Kaitlyn Patterson the first two being PG's are all good guards and can handle ball pressure and are good players. Raven Wells will be a good post. There were games this summer where any one of the one's I mentioned were in double figures. Gibson County will control TO's much better this year and they will press more and get back to playing faster. AA is down across the board. I have been all over watching ball. Alcoa jumped to AAA and Jackson County moved down. to A. No telling who wins it this year. I agree Union City, Westview and Gibson County will be a dogfight and must see basketball. Poster insuated that Gibson County has a mental block against Westview. Well give me Maddie Gray and we line up last year and they wouldn't have won a game. Let's see how Westview does this year. Their starting five last year had three transfers in it. Rogers from Obion, Trevathon from Greenfield and Gray from South Fulton. Looks like they swung and missed with the girl from Florida this year so let's see how they do playing with kids from Westview. Gibson County has a really good 7th grade class this year.I have done learned you play with what you got and work them hard and develop them and see what happens. Just keep battling and see what happens. I like our team this year. Very athletic. Every year is the same with injuries and can be catistrophic to any. I watched GC all summer long. South Side and GC was very evenly matched and was a classic war.We had some quality wins this summer. Beat Huntingdon, Henry County, Bowling Green, Liitle Rock Central as well as a couple other quality Kentucky Teams. Westview's talent pool may not be what it has been without transfers the next few.
    • I think Gibson County is a top five team this next season but I do agree they will drop off a lot after this year.  Westview lost a ton and will be down this season and hopes of returning to glass house again is slim.  The run they have had is super impressive!
    • My take on GC for this year: Based on what I saw last year and heard this summer, I’m not sure GC could surprise me next year with any outcome. Wilkins is a great coach - they could win the district and region and go to Murfreesboro. They could also come in third in the district and not get out of region. The two returning starters are very talented but Guru is right that they didn’t always play hard last year. The other three starters are good enough in their roles for GC to be successful. There is no depth. Foul trouble could be a problem - Wilkins may avoid it by playing a lot of zone. An injury would be catastrophic. I hope they have a big year and Wilkins rides off into the sunset in Murfreesboro because, without some significant transfers, there are some tough years coming in the next few.
    • Daniel Boone coming down to 3A makes this much tougher. They added a couple transfers to the Flores girl. Cocke Co, Northview, Greeneville, and Daniel Boone - only two headed to Murfreesboro.
