Gallatin visits Green Hill

What really good teams has Gallatin or Green Hill defeated?  Gallatin lost to a decent Hendersonville who in turn lost bad to what appears to be a strong Brentwood team.  Green Hill is undefeated, but I am not convinced that they have really played what I consider to be a really good team.  Yes, both teams will more than likely end up in the playoffs but is that an indication of a really good team when we currently have nine divisions and the top four teams from each region qualify for the state playoffs?  Not trying to rain on your parade but just trying to be a real.

Small flex, coming in here bringing down this game between these two, when I do not see that anybody in here has suggested that this is THE game that the whole state should be watching or something. It is a big game within this region as we see who will be placing where. Guess we won't talk any further about the game since we don't have your permission to be excited. Let's go ahead and make the thread about Brentwood or Oakland since they are good.

Playoffs are a goal so, yes, I think that is one indication of separation between good and bad.  Is it the overall point, no.  I am just happy to see my team with a shot at beating an undefeated team and not wondering how bad they will get beaten.  New coach, new offense, new expectations, and getting better every week.   Foundation is being laid and Green Hill is just the next test, win or lose.

You have a point Gallatin foe's combined record of 13-12 and Green Hill  is 8-17 ...But I think it will be a great competitive game !

^^^^^ no one in here claimed that either Gallatin or Green Hill is really good or that either one of them has played anyone so far that would be considered really good. This is a big game in this region without a doubt

    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
    • I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
