Wow why did he go for it? Especially when they stopped to look over at the sidelines to give bearden time to get set. That play took way too long.

Not sure what to even say. Very disappointing loss. Maryville threw just 2 passes in the second half by my count. I’m also so tired of seeing 3 down lineman and the linebackers playing 8 yards off the ball when everyone knows they’re going to run it. Just makes zero sense. Very disappointing offensive gameplan. Felt like play calling was very timid all night, especially in the second half. Not being aggressive will get you beat nearly every time. And it seems like the past few years, the bigger the game, the more timid the playcalling gets. I don’t mind going for the win at the end, but I hated the play call. Everyone in the stadium knew what was coming with the Rhino package coming out. Just very disappointing all around. With the upcoming schedule, it might be tough to make the playoffs at this point.

Coordinators that run it live and die by it, as a former defensive lineman I always hated it.

If we had kept going #### for tat in overtime I believe Bearden would have won anyway. The 2 point call is exactly what I would have called also. Good game.

As easily as Maryville scored in OT (first play I believe), I would have taken my chances with a 2nd OT.

Me too. But I like the aggressive decision. Give dogs credit for stopping it.
