Once again we are blessed with a terrible ranking! Marion is probably the 5th-6th best team no way they are above Huntington who has the best resume in 2A football. East Robertson shows every week they are the worst 7-1 team in the state and they are not a top 10 team and they got beat by Smith County a team ranked below them. Used to look forward to these rankings, but they are absolutely garbage.

I hope Huntingdon stays out of that top spot and just keeps playing up to their potential. That top spot hasn’t been very lucky.

I’ll be honest and admit that I know nothing about the teams in the East. It’s tough with few common opponents. I know that Friendship Christian and Huntingdon both played Columbia Academy. FC won 42-21 and Huntingdon won 48-14. York beat FC by 1, 8-7. I know that’s the long way around, but I couldn’t find anything other than that.

Im not sure East Robertson wants any of Fayetteville, and I’m sure smith county is hoping someone can bounce them before round 3 as well. I’m still not sure how good Lewis county or Mt.pleasant are. Not a lot of separation between #1 and #15. Should make for a fun November

Wouldn’t be surprised if City was a 4th round team.

I think I'd put Marion as a 6 point favorite right now over York. They look like they have so much speed and are bigger than York as well. Until York can show they can pass I'm afraid they will have trouble scoring vs a big and fast team. But their defense is elite, especially when healthy.

Haven’t seen York play but I can tell you from what I saw when we played Forrest, if MC is actually any good, they should not have struggled with Forrest at all

marion isn’t good. fayetteville made so many mistakes against them and marion only won 21-14. they have 2-3 good athletes that can make plays in space

Fayetteville seems to be a team that gets overlooked cause they've played such a tough schedule. But they can end up being #2 seed correct?
