Head Coaching Openings 2023

I think there will be plenty of jobs opening up in West Tennessee. It's no secret that two (or three) jobs should be available, but I think we can get to maybe 6. It's not a good thing because families are being impacted, but that's part of it.

Oh I agree, I have heard quite a few rumors I wouldn't be shocked if 6 coaches get fired or forced out, add in the fact a few more coaches will be looking to move on from their current spot into another I wouldn't be shocked if 10-12 new coaches are in place in West Tennessee next season.

I agree, it’s not a good thing. If the powers that be make that decision off one game, that tells me they already knew what they were going to do.

These are the current openings that I have seen I have no clue if anymore are open though. I'm shocked that 1-2 more in West Tennessee are not open yet..

Patience grasshopper... this season isn't over yet.

Lipscomb and Goodpasture didn't play this year for the first time in forever and now both jobs are vacant.

Hearing that Coach Smith at Hardin County is strongly considering stepping down as Head Football Coach now that Carter is done playing at HC. Obviously this in nothing official, but I have heard from people close to the situation. This would be a very interesting job opening if this does happen. Coach Smith has been a fantastic coach at HC and has pushed them to new heights. Could be one of the best jobs that open this cycle if it happens.
