That happens a lot of times. They use a new job opening to try and get something at their current school with no intention of ever leaving.

Gary Rankin perfected this at Riverdale. No telling how many times he got a raise bc his name was attached to a high profile vacancy

Hope the wheels fall off and Simpsons transfer.

LOL! Why so salty? There is a long list of exceptionally successful coaches that have reached out for this job. Some are former State Championship coaches and 2 coaches are currently coaching in College. Westview is going to be very dominate the next few years. Look for them to make multiple trips to Chattanooga soon. Thats why everyone wants this job. Only way Graham leaves is if Jason got a new job somewhere else.  Probably gonna have to find somewhere else to hate cause the "Wheels are going to roll smooth here at the View"

Probably so.  Dont understand why Coach Neal was forced out.   He had done an excellent job.

Wish him all the best moving forward but wonder why he hasn't been hired already? With a Winning percentage as high as his should be a no brainer. Could be reasons you have no clue. Just because a team has been winning doesn't mean the program is trending in the right direction. Its not all about the X's and O's. Its about the Jimmies and Joes. And we have had a ton of talent while he was here. So like I said good luck to him else where and we are moving on!!!!!!

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.

    • With June camps right around the corner, how are programs looking, reloading, any notable underclass coming in?
