namelpmis
I was wrong on Clay. Gordonsville is a lot better though.

To be effective, you need a mixture of run and pass. Limit the passing game because of rain, then both teams can adjust defensively. Could result in a hard fought 4 quarter low scoring game. I'm not sure how much rain is expected, you know how the weather changes around here. I wonder how many playoff games in the past have been moved to Thursday or Saturday, or is that even an option? It doesn’t appear to be a lot of rain so I would think it won’t impact the game much. 14 minutes ago, namelpmis said: I was wrong on Clay. Gordonsville is a lot better though. They always are. That program at Gordonsville has decades of success. They are always a good team.
GhostofFootballPast
Seen some of Gordonsville this year, but not much of SP. Gordy has some good athletes and a big line. Does SP have enough up front to match Gordonsville. Athletes will probably be equal, unless SP added some firepower after that loss last year. Are you sure you’ve seen us play? You must have seen a different Gordonsville team than the one I have seen all year
GhostofFootballPast
Seen them a few times. A couple of good size kids that seem to play hard and are physical. The QB is a really good athlete, along with a good WR and a good RB.

We better have enough to match them. If we don’t.. to steal a line from one of our fallen brothers. We will lose and our season will be over

We are able to run the ball effectively because teams have to spread out and respect our passing attack. But if we are unable to throw and catch because the slippery conditions, our run game will be very ineffective because SP can just stack the box on us Realistically, if SP had athletes galore they can just play man everywhere and stack the box anyways and it would be hard for us to do much on O Got ya, well maybe the rain will hold off so we can see a good game without the rain interfering . we can see the trueness of both teams and what they both have to bring to the next round! QB looks to have leaned up and moves much better. The Ferrior kid also is a stud on both sides of the ball and one of best Linebackers in 1A. Lastly the other receiver they have opposite of Wallace has been a game changer. Got a good younger RB but not sure if he played on last years team or not. The big boy from Ga isn’t much of a threat on offense imo. I am just keeping it real
