Negative. If the game between Greeneville and Upperman is in Baxter the U is the favorite. And next year the semi final game WILL be in Baxter. Doesn’t matter where Alcoa plays Giles it’s a blowout win.

Good Luck to Giles County from a Middle-TN Football Fan!

On a side note:  I saw Upperman play on television versus White House several weeks ago.  Greeneville's players are about to feel like they are playing Cherokee on September 1st all over again.

Would be in 4A also!

Probably the best 5A team in TN...got a club'n too.

The F5 played some of the best 6A teams also.

If you're feeling cocky, Alcoa needs seals for next year. Nothing would be more fun then, putting 75 points on lowerman AGAIN!:thumb:

Hahaha I have no doubt you could be right!  Don’t deny it at all. Now last time Alcoa came to Baxter they needed the refs help to keep their streak alive. Video proof we recovered the fumble.  Ancient history. Alcoa would not roll through 4A like they do in 3A. Greeneville  PC Upperman Elizbethton Anderson County are all better than anyone in 3A other than Alcoa.  Year in and year out Alcoa is better than all of them except Greeneville   In 5A, once again you’d be one of the teams to beat absolutely agree. You wouldn’t win 100 in a row in either 4 or 5A though. No denying Alcoa is one of the best programs in Tn. That’s why my point is you’re still in 3A clubbing baby seals going for all time high scores

I'm taking Giles 37-35 the key game that show how much Giles has improved is the Page game they loose by 1 point in overtime on a questionable call now Page is playing for 5a state title I've watched this team mature and improve drastically after each game. Plus I think a little payback is on order.Giants do fall.

    • Pickett is good, may have a Mr. Football like season if he’s used correctly. One of the best teams Marion has fielded in a while. I think they go 12-1 and loose to ER.  ER has better players at almost every position. If they play discipline this year, they win soundly. If they don’t though…Marion could sneak away with it.
    • I’m betting the house on the Indians. Pickett and Co will be the only team to challenge the Indians in the East. Huntingdon can in the West. I think Brooks goes 15-0 and has the first perfect season and state championship in ER history.
    • Sounds like a great opportunity has opened up for the football team.  With the head coach of the diamond rebels making it official and quitting this week, there should be some room for the gridiron guys to benefit. I assume the administration won’t continue paying six figures to two former coach that quit to continue teaching drivers Ed. Thats pretty good money that could be redirected toward the football program. Also, with the more recent policies of pushing kids to only play one sport, abolishing the baseball program altogether would help on Friday nights in the fall. There is some decent speed on that baseball team that should’ve been playing on Fridays IMO. I’m not sure if anybody would really miss that baseball program anyway with it being across town from the school. The liability of letting players actually use the facilities could also be mitigated with closing the program. That liability seems to be a really big issue for 825. Anyway, it seems like a great opportunity is available.
    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
    • Maybe OR will be, but Farragut, nah, I don’t think anybody realizes how much of a bad situation that program is in currently. I’m sure they will build out of it, but the next 3 to 4 years are going to be a long climb up.
