District 13AAA sweeps District 14AAA to set up a carbon copy of the District 13AAA Semis in the Region 7AAA Semis:

Dburg vs Obion County
Crockett County vs South Gibson County

As of this moment, Fayette Ware is still hosting the girls semis even though District 13AAA swept.

The girls 7AAA Region Tournament is moving to Crockett County High School.

I believe if a district sweeps it automatically goes back to either where the district was played or the district champ.  Not sure which but I’m positive it moves back because TSSAA gets more $

You are correct. I was not at the Region meeting but was told that Fayette Ware wanted to host regardless of what happened tonight. No clue what changed.

I don’t believe it’s a choice.  TSSAA rule

SF takes 1A region 7 title from Greenfield. Greenfield has a tremendous team. SF is just peaking at the right time and it looks like coach Lee has loosened the reins. I think both these teams are going to go into Murfreesboro as underdogs in 1A and will surprise some folks.

I believe if a WestTN team played a MiddleTN team in a substate or state game tonight it was a 5-1 record for the west with Clarksville being the lone MiddleTN survivor in those matchups.  Congrats to USJ state champs in A Private.

Is it me or does TSSAA have all West Tn teams playing each other in the first round?

They do indeed and since they hide how they decide the match ups it seems not right

I guess it is mathematically possible this is how it was " randomly " selected. However, I find that hard to believe...
