As far as coaching goes, as a whole Metro Nashville Public Schools are a total joke due to the lack of support and discipline problems. With that being said both Hume Fogg and Martin Luther King are totally different situations. Both are extremely good academic magnet schools (routinely ranked in the Top 100 national public schools) where both the students and parents are engaged in the child’s academic lives. I could personally see the coaching staff staying together and the team continuing to improve over the next several years. While not perfect, the students that graduate from Hume Fogg have a strong academic foundation. -

I think we will need to concentrate on him and make their other players beat us. I don’t think we can totally stop him. Just slow him down. We have to put a body on him every time a shot goes up. Half our team are football players and they should be good at this part of the game. -
It is a 50/50 proposition that it is the truth when you only get one side of the story. You are glad he is gone. I get it. But try to remember what kind of team Hume Fogg had with Givens before Barry got there and then realize how far he took them. Your new guy was handed the keys to a Ferrari. We shall see what he does with a Datsun. -
