ER has a rivalry game each year with their west side county rival Jo Bryns.  Both are rural schools. They call the game “the match in the patch” a play on the tobacco raised in our county

Saw a story on the news one time about the Jo byrns kids and the farming. Been a fan ever since.

Lol….you need to visit Orme sometime. I  went to School with 2 ole boys from Parsons back in the day. Went home with them a couple of times and man did we party on the River. That was 50 years ago and they both still fine citizens there. Met a lot of people there and they good folks.

Cross Plains has a nice little downtown. You can get lunch at the drug store. Thomas Drugs I believe. I recommend the BLT.
