Sounds like a good hire. Coaches can really have a big impact on winning, but when the athletes aren't there, you can only go so far. Jimmies and Joes vs X's and O's. I believe it takes both to be a GREAT program, and Hardin Valley is lacking the Jimmies and Joes. Especially in that loaded region.

Very true, I admire anybody who would step up and take that job in that region.  I wish the man success.

Anybody know his coaching record in Georgia besides the guy who told us he led Valdosta to the playoffs and got the name wrong of one of the schools he coached at?

Just because I love this kind of thing here are his records as a HC per unapproved website.

'15, 1-10

'16, 3-7

'17, 4-6

'18, 1-9

all above at River Ridge in Woodstock, GA

'19, 4-6

'20, 2-7

'21, 6-4

all above('19-'21) at Greenville also in GA

total 21-49(30%)

At least you did it, would be to hard for someone like @BigTime1950

l looked it up. Just did not want to seem like l was trying to put the quy on the hot seat before he even got started. Georgia football is very competitive. HVA is in a region with some teams that have been very competitive on the past. Good luck to the new coach. HVA was competitive with its region opponents a few years ago. Don't know if these new type coaches can get it done at HVA.

So what your saying is we were led to believe it was the hamburgers on the left but in reality it's the ones on the right, got ya.

Prett much accurate.

Hopefully he does well, but he's not walking in to Valdosta talent, facilities, or financial support like he did as an assistant.

Apples and oranges.
