Which at the end of the day is all that matters. Regular season titles and 25+ win seasons are great but the goal is to win a state title especially with the team Sparta had. I’m not saying there is someone better out there but coaching does matter.

I am sure Dyersburg has a very good team. There are always great athletes coming out of Dyer county.  I doubt they could win if they shoot it this bad, but every team has a bad game or two.  I have no

Dodgen seems like a good coach. In the games I have watched it seems like the girls relate to him well. Sometimes the best teams do not make it to the state. Not always the coaches fault.

I haven’t seen Dyersburg play and I’m sure they are good but White co has it all.  Any team that comes out of this district will have a shot to win it all every year.

I like Barnes but he is the type of coach that might have DK on the bench the last part of the game because he got beat baseline on defense. Olivier scored 27 against Duke last year and barely seen the floor second half of FLA Atlantic. Can't fire the guy but man he has some weird ways in March. White County always is a good team. Hard to fire a guy that makes a deep run every year.

White Female Warriors had no excuse to lose to Heritage Female Mountaineers. It should not have happened. I guarantee it. Someone needs to be help accountable for the best team in the state sitting at home and not playing for a title in The Glass House. There is no excuse for it. Kelly Jolly must have showed up and coached White Female Warriors the way she coaches Tennessee Female Vols. I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.

But they don’t have the best team… that’s why they will be sitting at home this week.

Upperman tanked you ain't convincing me otherwise. Just WIN BABY! AL DAVIS. Thats what we teach our nowadays. Screwing over people is widely accepted

You got beat on your home floor, hosting a region game. This isn’t “everybody get to trophy” Quit your crying and go see mommy for some warm milk in a bottle and lay down and take a nap. You’ll feel better when it quits hurting….

      Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.

      It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.

      Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
