First inteiews taking place this week. Finalists will be brought back after spring break.

Nothing is done, nor is it anywhere near being done at this point.

Who?

I was replying to the comment about Brad Taylor being the process. I said “done deal” because if he truly is being interviewed, which I now know he is, I’d consider it a done deal. Great guy and great coach. There are really two ways they could go: one way is a hire that potentially keeps the players, and the other way is, well, Brad Taylor and some other people I guess they could look into. But there are only really two options that the fans want.

He is being interviewed today.

Have you ever heard of professional courtesy?

It's not done.  Nowhere near.

I hate to break it to you, but there’s only really two people the athletic department is even looking at and rhe booster club wants, the old defensive coordinator and Brad Taylor, it’s gonna be one of them.

I’m not even sure if you’re an OR fan at this point, but considering literally everything y’all do has to be ran through old Kevin B*****, especially after that softball incident, if you are truly an OR fan you have no room to be talking…

I am an Oak Ridge fan believe that.  Many on here know me and have attended games with me and will confirm that. Been a Cat fan since 2 yrs old in 1971, born there, live there.  But what do I care what a jocksniffer thinks.  I have no idea who old Kevin B is, and if you are following hs softball, man you need help.

My point is this, How did that house of cards work out for you?

This just tells me everything I need to know. Which is you know nothing.

But yeah, I’m sure they’re really gonna find a good ball coach with KCS’s 9K a year…

    • Careful...the experts on here will post laughing emojis if they bother to even look at this thread again!  I was surfing YouTube earlier and saw the USWNT soccer team beaten 12-0 in a scrimmage about a month before winning the World Cup. The scrimmage was against a male European team of 16 year olds.
    • My biggest concern for this is that I truly think it will at some point cause an end to high school sports. I am not a huge fan of TSSAA and think that they need to seriously change things and not that it is great but do we really think that the state legislature is going to put on a state tournament? I know there is a lot that they don't do well, but they do a lot and while there needs to be changes, we need an organization like this for middle school and high school sports to function.
    • Some kids will benefit from it, but the part that I hate is (referring to Jackson) the privates hold absolute control. USJ is dropping in classification, JCS and Trinity have no desire to go up to AA...all control their enrollment number in order to position themselves where they feel they have the best chance to compete against the rest of the state. The students targeted (underachieving) to benefit from the Voucher Bill stand no chance of being accepted for admission unless they are athletically superior to their peers, so you've basically replicated NIL in assistance for the athletes to transfer while worsening things for unathletic students. For every athlete and/or academic top 10% accepted to a private via a voucher, the rug gets pulled from under a student already there...enrollment numbers will be capped in order not to be bumped up in classification. Statewide, enrollment numbers will not play as great of a role, but the principal is the same...underachieving students will be passed over for admission in favor of the top tier academic and athletic students, nullifying the original intent of the Bill.
    • No said Beaty didn't wanna put in the time as a head coach now to be with his daughter, I read the presser just like everyone else!Beaty and all the coaches built a strong foundation! Thankful for them all!
    • With all the rumors and speculation that LCL throws out, sounds like he will be a major factor in who the next coach will be or maybe could be wanting the job himself.  Frazier and Beaty did a great job of bringing that program back from the dead, Little confused on how you said Beaty was not putting in the time, sounds like with the last two years he was there time was put in two good seasons, especially for a program that had struggled for so many years. Sometimes parents really just need to sit back and enjoy watching there kids play.
