I was just wondering, have you seen Perry County? I haven't seen Mitchell, but I don't think that there are any teams in the tournament that are capable of running the other teams out of the gym. All of the teams are very good or they wouldn't be where they are. Good luck tomorrow Vikings we are behind you 150%!

Does anyone know exactly how many appearances this makes for PC in the state tourney? I know it's at least 22, but i've heard a few different numbers. I know that we hold the record for most appearances but I'm not sure how many it is. At the Sectional game someone said it was 23 or 24. If anyone knows I would appreciate it. Thanks.

GO Vikings.

I agree that the best teams are pitted together too early, but I feel that too much focus is placed on Perry and Temple. The 2003 Cosby Eagles are probably the quickest and most consistant team that I have seen in a long time. Sure they may not have the height advantage, but the team is just that, a team. Not just one or two players who carry it. I feel that this in itself will be the deciding factor.

fatchance- you are so jealous that your team has lost to temple this year that you come in and say crap about the crusaders team so please stop,it is annoying ....to everyones comments about temple having no bench and only depending on jake that is just stupid because jake was on the bench for 6 minutes when they played perry and the other guys did an awesome job.... temple does have alot of pressure since winning state last year and all but i think that they want it bad enough.... is tomorrows game is going to be really tough for them??? heard that the team that they are playing is good .... also ratings don't matter.... ratings are chosen by the news papers and by news channels of the area and where perry is from has more news channels and papers than chattanooga that is why they have been #1 all season....what i heard....not for sure though...TURNS OUT THOUGH FOR THE PERRY TMEPLE GAME, TEMPLE BY 20 .... hopefully it will be a repeat but you never know???.....GO TEMPLE

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
