i've been hearing about private schools leaving division I. anyone wanna tell me whats going on?

The board will dictate that private schools be issued a multiplier. At which point the private schools will simply leave altogether.

If you use a multiplier you are just passing the problem on to the next level. Have some guts and kick them out completely. Instead of them winning single and double A state championships, they will be winning AA and AAA. For once in the history of the TSSAA, don't pass the "buck".

You see folks this is why this is just a vendetta against private schools. It`s totally deplorable if public school coaches take action against private schools and not open zoned public schools as well. People who want a split are simply bigots!!!!!

It's happening in "chunks". The "financial aid" privates were first. The DI privates will be next. Then the "open-zoned" publics will go. After that, the magnet's will follow. Then there will be about 15 to 20 pure zoned public schools left.

Private and Public schools should be seperated. However, why dont, for the State Championship, take the winner of Each class, match it up with its similiar private school, and have then play it out. State Champion vs. State Champion
