Luke Landers, CPA - a Junior with about 1,100 yards in 7 games (missed the first 2 due to mono) on a team that is very balanced run/pass. Gained 230 last week against the #1 defense in 1A - DCA.

Two stars from Robertson Co. : Carlos Hudson from East Rob.... 156 attempts fot 1348 and 13 touchdowns and Roger Herndon at Greenbrier... 166 attempts for 1455 yards and 19 touchdowns. Great job guys.

Have to mention 2 RB's from Franklin. Playing in offense that is so balanced, and spreads the ball around to 7 different offensive players a night, it's tough to get 1,000 yards carrying. (3,000+ total offense - 1400 in the air, 1600 on the ground)

 

However - Tony Hammond sits on 649 on 83 carries = 7.8 yards a carry; Derian Waters sits on 444 on 71 carries = 6.3 yards per carry.

 

When you include the 1400 yards in the air by Solima to Nichols, Bell, Murray and Rucker - tha't's quite an achievement.

Well, he is not quite there yet, but Andrew Hayes needes only 18 yards in the final game with Sweetwayer to surpass a grand. Good luck and way to go Hayes.
