robby locklear from hardin county in the 92-94 seasons...he dominated class 4-a oppenents week in adn week out earning unanimous mr football honors....memphis state gave him a full ride but other things got in the way and ruined what could have been a great college and nfl career.

Has anyone ever heard of someone named Willie Guy?

 

I believe that was his name...his team went 1-9 but he still made all american...I think he went to Trezevant, it was definitely a city school in Memphis...later signed with Notre Dame.

 

You have to be good to be all american and go 1-9.

 

He played a lot of different positions so you might not want to put him at RB.

Fleming was very good as well.

Joseph "Frog" Campbell Stratford High 1985-87

Graduated from Stratford as the all-time leading rusher in the history of Nashville, lead the Spartans to their first playoff appearance ever, dominated even though every opponent focused solely on stopping him, also excelled on defense and special teams, he even played noseguard on goalline defense at 160 pounds! Greatest, fiercest competitor I've ever seen.

 

Went on to be a 2 time All-American at MTSU and is still their all-time leading rusher. Played professionally for years, and is now coaching at Hunters Lane.

Jeremiah Ligon Cheatham Co. 91-94. ran for 2000 + junior and senior yrs. He got the shaft his senior yr lost Mr Football to Locklear. 1995 CUBS team went to Harden Co. in the first round of the playoffs and got sweat sweat revenge.

i'm gonna have to go with my boy ralph king from the riverdale team of 2000 and 2001. over 100 td's for his career and well over 5,000 yards rushing. tough to beat that. may be a little biased since i played with him. however, everyone keyed on him in 2001 and he still had over 2000 yards. give him props.
