Big win yesterday! It's always a great accomplishment to make it to the state tournament. This year, we need to win more than one game while we are down there, heck, let's just win it all this time. rkwd2, I don't think you have to worry about us spreading anything, it was on the news last night, lol.

 

Unaka, congrats on doing something we havn't done before, beat Harriman with Eble on the mound. See you guys down there, and I wouldn't mind playing y'all in the championship game.

i thought we were in a different bracket than goodpasture and usj. it says if we win the first round we play the winner of usj and goodpasture. whats the deal.

Rockwood is in the upper bracket and Unaka the lower. If Rockwood wins their half and Unaka does likewise then the schools would meet in the finals.

Congrads on the win, 5 out of 6 yrs to the state is not to shabby. For those of us who were unable to see the game or local news, what happened in the 2nd that you are referring too? Good luck in Memphis.

illpete and 5eagle, Rockwood High School is a single A school (about 360-390 students) in Rockwood (about 40 miles west of Knoxville). Nobody in Rockwood knows how or cares enough to create a website. CoachT is a place where we can express our views and talk about Rockwood sports. Until we break one of CoachT's board rules, we have no reason to discontinue this thread. Arguing with you would be a convenient way for you to get me to cause this thread to be locked, but I will just keep the conversation cordial and politely ask that you would cease to down Rockwood simply because you do not know anything about us or care. Thank you.

I guess eagle dont get out much!!! Rockwood has been to the state 5 out of 6 years. We dont care if you have heard of us or not. This is a Rockwood thread so if you dont like it leave it!!!!

 

 

As for our Tigers, good job yesterday. Keep up the good work and get your bags packed.....WE"RE GOING TO MEMPHIS!!
