Poll: Class 1A: Region 1 Favorites

This week we'll vote on the Region 1 favorites in each classification. Next week, Region 2, etc.

Unaka has a good run of atheletes in the school right now and might compete in this Region.

Until someone beats Cloudland they have to be the favorite. I would love to see Cosby win this region. If the guys who play basketball would go out for football Cosby could field a pretty good team.

The same thing could be said for Unaka and North Greene also. The schools are too small to have to split athletes that way. A good dynamic coach or support from the administration could solve alot of that. Unaka has a headstart in the coach. North Greene will have a new staff this year (still undetermined).

This Class is truly up in the air this year. Everyone seems to overwhelmingly believe Cloudland will repeat. Does anyone remember the players graduating and not returning next year? I can name at least three....

If a team ever had a "rebuilding season", Cloudland is looking at one this year.

Cloudlands jvs never lost a game last season, they have the boys to have a good season. They need to really hit the weight room this summer. Should be a good season.GO LANDERS

All u people come on running your mouth thank that u all know everthing but guess what cloudland will rule unaka,cosby,north green,and jellco. I know it's normal for people to go for the school they grow up in but it's just common snice that cloudland will win. So whne u all come back on here running your mouth about my post and te season is over i will say told ya so. But all schools have a safe season and good luck to ya. LANDERS #22 IS OUT

No doubt Cloudland will be a relatively strong 1A team this year, but they should be challenged more this year than any other in the past five years. CAK proved that any one is vulnerable on any given friday night within their classification.
