KGstud05
no i dont because maryville has a great linebacker in matt valentine. he has had some interceptions and he is a great tackler. if he gets a hold of you you are going to the ground. There is no way to measure the intangible (poise, leadership, etc.) of being a quarterback other than the success of the team. Edge - Maryville under Cade. No one is saying that Helton is bad. He's a great player. To say that Helton is the better quarterback because of stats alone is ridiculous.
boats
If helton is so selfish why has david gaston had more then 15 touchdowns
GHOSTBUSTER
It's gonna' be a bunch a fun to watch this game. I think it'll be a defensive battle with a boatload of slobber knockers and decleaters! However I think that after a few years of frustration Central will finally win this one in a CLOSE ONE. Central 20 Murrvill
Newman
maryville fans/sheep/worshipers, Here's a good visual for you to use to prepare for what's coming your way friday night. Go out to the nearest cow pasture (just step out back of the trailer) and find a good pile of fresh, smelly cow dung. Now take your favorite maryville jersey and stomp it down in the fresh pile. You beginning to understand now? ronnie boy, As I've told you many times, your obsession with Halls is comical. I guessing one of your coacht buddies has given you some bad infro-mation. Either way, I find it funny that you think by hammering the Halls coaching staff that you are referring to me. If you want to humor yourself and associate me with them, then so be it. I'd rather be associated with that bunch any day of the year than anything south of knoxville. Come out on the field after Central hands it to you friday night and we'll dance a little jig in honor of Coach Helton and the boys.
MRedRebels
I hope all you maryville sheep are on here Monday morning to face the music when the bobcats destroy what's left of the maryville program. 825391324[/snapback] The only way the Bobcats could destroy Maryville's program was if they had an atomic bomb. Looking forward to a good game Friday.

(http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/statistics?stat=pass&group=80&year=2004&sort=rat) Better than Jason Campbell, Chris Leak, and Heisman frontrunner Kyle Orten (just a few of the recognizable names near the top). I think we all know this isn't true. I'm not trying to turn this into a college football thread, merely pointing out faulty logic. Don't base everything on stats. MakoRevised
I'd love to see Central win (I like MAryville, just want to see the underdog win), but don't think they will. It's tough beating Maryville at home, and Central's D isn't proven, although I think they've played 1 tougher opponent than the REbs. On a side note, if this game is close, or Maryville happens to lose, Maryville will bow to a few 4A teams in the West. Haywood, White House...Especially those kids from Orange Mound.
