Everyboby ran there own race and had some great times which resulted in a GREAT TEAM VICTORY.

 

Thanks for being such strong collective individuals. That is what resulted in this GREAT TEAM VICTORY. Your work ethic needs to rub off on other EHS athletes. I hope this gives alot of others motivation. Your success is admired and appreciated.

 

Congrats Big Jim you coached your guys like you always competed to win.

P.S. If you didnt score a point for the Clones all year, dont ever lessen your part, you were as much a part as anyone cause you helped those other guys train. You were part of something very, very few ever get the opportunity to be part of.

I was really impressed with the sportmanship shown by the Elizabethton team after the A/AA race. They came over to the Franklin Road Academy tent and extended handshakes to the outgoing state champions.

 

The young Elizabethton men showed class. It was nice to see in this age of in-your-face antics by athletics.

My congratulations to Elizabethton. Being from East Tennessee myself and running for Boone when we won the title in 81, it's a great feeling. And although I'm coaching in middle tenn, I continue to keep up with north east tn teams. Congrats and enjoy it. It's something you'll never forget.
