Franklin has played in the toughest region in the state and are definatley battle tested...I saw Riverdale play tonight and I have no doubt franklin can run or pass against Riverdale...Franklin will also be able to cause turnovers on defense...#9 and #1 run with the ball like a loaf of bread and all the passes are not reads the qb just throws to a called route

good luck Franklin

What a team Oak Ridge had tonight. If not for Thomas fumbling the ball and his own teammate running over 50 yards for a touchdown to tie the game, we could have had a nailbitter on our hands. Oak Ridge almost completely took away Riverdale's running game, and what do they do, win with their passing attack. No offense to Franklin, but I think this was the state championship game tonight unless Riverdale overlooks Franklin which I doubt. Franklin's best chance is if its below 20 degrees and snowing next Saturday night. Again congrads to Oak Ridge on one heck of a team, if not for that one play who knows what would happen although the Riverdale coaches did an unbelievable job of adjustments to basically shut down OR in the second half. Riverdale 35 Franklin 7

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
