CoachT's All-State Football Team

For the first time ever CoachT has chosen an All-State football team. The team consists of 11 offensive players, 11 defensive players, a punter, and a kicker- 24 total players. Story will run at 9AM CST this morning.

Looks like a great, great team...However, you might want to add Jeff Cottam of Germantown at TE...Mr. Football canidate (might have won, I don't recall)...and he's committed to UT...I know Warren is good and I've seen him play...but is he up to that calibur?

Ego, I had Cottam and Warren both listed but from what I saw of Warren at the championship he is the best. Now I say that without personally seeing Cottam which is not a fair analysis but Warren is the real thing.

You have obviously done your research. You had mentioned that you saw the kid from Alcoa play. How many of these kids did you see in person? I know there are several kids from Clinic Bowl or Blue Cross Bowl participants - Maryville, Aloca, Melrose, DCA, Riverdale, Franklin, etc.

 

I feel sure this team will generate some discussion. BTW, can CPA get Mark Thompson another year of high school eligibility?
