West Carroll vs. JCS

West Carroll played in a weak district and it came back to haunt them in the football playoffs and now in the basketball playoffs. JCS had several losses but they were to teams like Middleton (3) and Liberty (2), which are two very talented teams. I can't wait for the JCS/Middleton game on Thursday!

A little bit of bad luck (Peabody a 4th seed!?!) and turnovers late in the game (3 in a row in a 2 min span). I wasn't at the game so I can only speak for what I heard on the radio (which doesn't do much justice) but it didn't sound like the same team that I watched beat Lake Co by 20. All in all, it wasn't that bad of season if you look at everything but not making a trip to state. 3rd straight district championship, 12th straight season with a over .500 record and also 12th straight year at least 15 wins. It wouldn't be as disappointing of a year if we hadn't been to Murfreesboro the last two years.

Yep, he was the one. He's only gotten about 5 technicals this season for the same thing.

Since none of ya'll were actually at the game, let me clear it up. Jcs played almost perfect for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters. North was on fire for 33 points. They hung all over X and he struggled for 20 points. Also, the technical was a bogus call at crunch time. There was some traffic in the lane and the kid went down and was called for flopping. JCS was the better team tonight. WC did not get outcoached. Just because JCS has white guys that are supposed to be smart and WC has black guys that are supposed to be athletes, everyone assumes the JCS coach has done a better job. What a racist stereotype! My boys from WC played hard all year and were extremely well-coached. 'Cupcake' schedule or not, 27-2 is a great season. Thanks to X, Cam, Baker, BC, and Jonason for a great year and great careers! Great job to players and coaches!

JCS could have gone 27-2 with the schedule they played. That weak schedule come back to haunt them though. JCS is the better team of the team and was more prepared and that showed last night.

Actually, I was at the game and saw it very different. I have seen every West Carroll game this year and they are not very well coached, and they lack discipline. This cost them big last night!

What does race have to do with it? I hate when someone brings race into anything. I've always looked at the person using race in a conversation as being the racist. Face it, West Caroll played a weak schedule and they were an average ball team that got beat by a better team. Race had nothing to do with it.
