Just my opinion

1.  Maryville

2.  Farragut

3.  Heritage

4.  Hardin Valley

5.  Bearden

6.  West

7.  William Blount

8.  Lenior City

Maryville is loaded with post, guards and a deep bench. Farragut has a LOT of seniors and their underclassmen are very talented. Heritage will surprise people they have some sophomores who can flat out shoot and of course the foreign pipeline lol. West is athletic, but lack experience and size, LC has a scorer in Brewster, and another new head coach. I'm not sure what William Blount has and Hardin Valley returns a lot of upperclassmen. Bearden lost a lot of seniors who scored for them.

I saw Maryville play a few times last year and they were pretty much carried by Garrett and Edmiston, who both graduated. They may well be loaded as some have suggested but I wonder who will be their "go to" guy(s) this year?

From what I saw last year, they will have a good core of solid players but I don't know if they have the standout type player(s) that are needed to be a highly ranked AAA team. I'm probably just not familiar enough with their roster.......Blackmon did look like he had great potential last year, but he is just a sophomore.

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
