Treyrae,

I, for one, appreciate what you've done for the defense. I was very impressed by what y'all managed to accomplish in spring practice. I think y'all are doing a good job and hope you will stick around. I just think y'all need to leave this drama in the past and not let it get ya all worked up. But I understand why you got upset, we're all human, it happens.

Holy moly. I've heard of players posting on these boards (maybe even was one at one time... I'll plead the fifth on that), but never a coach! It simply has to be embarrassing for the program.

Cue the "standing up for a friend" rhetoric.

No...

What was embarrassing was seeing the Govs blow a lead and give up 34 unanswered points to Bearden last year. I don't know what's gone on behind closed doors and off the forum between these guys but it's obvious there's some bad blood there. Now would I rather all this get solved off the forum? Sure... But who am I to judge? I just want them to get it out of their system and move on so we can focus on what's important, which is building up the football program at WB. And I'd appreciate it if the rest of y'all wouldn't throw gas on the fire.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
