  2. I’m old enough to remember when I said Bearden was turning into a S**t show and Mr. IMADAWG and HTV called me a hater and how ridiculous that was. Since then they’ve lost 2 of their 3 best players, at least 5 coaches, and several other players who are about to jump as well. The Bball coach is shopping his son around, and chances are the RB will be at a private school soon. So do the JJ defenders want to just go ahead and admit I was right, or do you guys want to bury your heads further in the sand and tell me I’m just a hater and that this is all completely normal?

  4. Gonna try and stop by a couple schools this offseason. Let everyone know how they look.
  5. Gonna try and stop at a couple of these schools this summer and see how they’re looking.

  7. They'll do it in two situations. One, if they feel embarrassed and something is caught on camera for everyone in the whole state to see. Second, if they feel like they have to stand up for themselves or for someone else (example: a game official). In this case, they arguably don't care because they're receiving around $3,200 dollars in what would be house money to them, and Clinton has already dismissed their previous coach, so they feel obligated to not have to take action. I think it'll be lazy on TSSAA's part if they don't want to take more action.
  8. Can't blame you one bit for the way your feeling. Eventually a lot of the money people will cut ties there if this WOKE agenda keeps moving forward bringing in outsiders when openings happen. This continues because most Maryville Alumni won't step forward all because of what the Smith's and the Jone's may think of them. It's war in my mind and I'm ready to take it on.
  9. I have no affiliation with Maryville anymore outside of being a 2nd generation graduate from a large family of Rebel alumni. That relationship ended courtesy of the lame duck AD (a Bearden grad I might add) and the HBIC. That said, I could care less if a private school comes through and offers every promising athlete out of that school or any other school better opportunities.
  10. A perfect example is for athletes at Clinton High School. I will completely understand, and hopefully everyone should understand why they want to, and as of right now, it looks like that’s going to happen in numbers over the summer.
  11. I mean, that’s easy to say when it hasn’t happened to your school that often, if at all, but yeah, I think everybody should be for the student athlete or player. Whatever they think will help them or their athletic career, I feel like they should be able to do that, even if that means transferring schools. Now I don’t really get that when you have almost every offer you could want and then jump ship, but what can I say? I guess money talks.
  12. Covid killed the city because they chose not to play football in the 2020 season. Therefore, kids weren't able to practice and develop, and continuing to lift weights. Memphis basically had 7/8 graders, skipping a year, then playing 9/10 high school football. Now, there's only one team that has made a "dent" which will be Southwind (made it to the 5A semifinals last year). If you want to go more suburbs, then it'll be Houston, which won the 6A state title, defeating Oakland Other than that, I agree.
  13. It will be hard opening up a restaurant and coaching a High School Football team at the same time but he did take this job as an interm coach to stop the bleed. The program is in scorched earth mode right now and could drop down to the likes of Scott County, Campbell County and Karns if they lose most of their kids out of this.
  14. This is really getting ugly with the private schools raiding the public schools like they were their minor league.
  15. Your boys are loading up for a big 2024 run.
  16. Yep, I have known about it for a while. I'm disappointed, but I don’t blame him. I mean, I don’t think anybody would if they saw... nvm, but anyway, I knew he was handed away. I'm just glad he didn’t leave all the way down for Florida; at least I will still get to see him play. wonder what all the tinfoil hat people will say about this.
  17. Warriors just hoping to make the playoffs.
  18. I just saw on 5 Star Preps that Chaston Smith is transferring to Chattanooga McCallie. McCallie and Baylor are loading up. Baylor got UT commit Joakim Dodson and Former Alcoa player Kolby Barrett. They also got a bunch of other transfers.
  19. Does anyone know of another spring scrimmage or are we done?
  20. The lamentable departure of the esteemed coach, orchestrated by certain board members whose intellectual acumen leaves much to be desired, is a matter of grave concern. It is worth noting that these individuals, paradoxically invested in overseeing the educational welfare of others while opting for homeschooling for their own progeny, have effectively precipitated this regrettable outcome. One can only surmise that the repercussions of their actions will reverberate for an extended period, casting a pall over their respective tenures. Such consequences are indeed a cross they shall bear.
