TheGreatLineJudge
Back by popular demand! Here's the format I want to use for sending in the poll: Send by PM or e-mail your Top 10 ballot each week. My email address is listed under my username (if you didn't notice). Please format as follows: Username: Your posting handle on the site. This is only to help keep the votes legitimate and make sure the poll data is reasonably valid. Any email addresses/ identities revealed will NOT be shared! Region: What area of the state are you in? West, Middle, or East. This helps to know where everyone is coming from, and help see any voting biases. 1. 2. 3. etc, until you hit 10. I will break out the entire 10, and then post AAA, A-AA, and Division II top 5 or so, possibly more depending on how close/popular a team's voting is. Tentatively, voting will be cut off at 4 pm CST Sunday afternoon, and I will do my best to tabulate results and post as quickly as possible. Thanks and enjoy! USN 825740422[/snapback] I'll testify that BGA should not be ranked higher than Independence or Centennial. BGA lost to both Centennial and Lafayette in pool play this past weekend. Independence also lost to Centennial and actually beat the eventual tournament winner Lafayette in pool play in three. Based on actual play so far, Centennial deserves to be ranked higher than both of those teams, yet Centennial didn't even make the top 25. I cant "fairly" debate anybody else on this list, but if East Ridge is a top 5 team after losing those seniors from last year I'd be very surprised. I also understand they have already lost to #11 Notre Dame that I'm aware of.

I think in seeing the 2 teams, the difference is that ND has a solid all-around group of girls compared to ER which definitely has one of the top players in the state and has a good supporting cast but I don't think ER is as well rounded, top to bottom as ND. WHY? If you look at ND's roster how many of their girls play club ball? - Most all of their primary players. How many of ER's girls played club ball last year, I believe only the Brock sisters. TheGreatLineJudge
Been a great week of volleyball! Get those ballots in. If you have scores that you think everyone should consider before they vote, post 'em in the Game Info subforum. I'll post this week's results sometime Sunday or Monday.
