"What we've got here is... failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you men."

Thats my fav movie line.

And lets face it! If Farragut played their best game and beat OR, the replys would be from the OR faithful. "Win 8 gold balls and beat us 10 stright and then you can talk" and they would be correct.

IMO- Farragut has the team to beat Oak Ridge but not the coaching. I hope the young men on the Admiral team find a way to overcome that problem and beat the cats by 5.

BTW- Is Spencer G turing 19 or 20 this Friday? I thought he played like a man among boys. LOL

14 straight not 10. And by the way, it will not go on forever, but I think it will go on for one more game.

It doesn't matter if Spencer is 18,19 or 35 he is legal and ran over Farragut last game and it's up to you to stop him and the rest of the Wildcats this friday night. Do it and brag about it. If you don't shut up about it.

He's 35! Wow he looks good for 35!

If Farragut does it. It want be anything to brag about just good HS football from a great region.

Go Owls, woops I mean Ads!

This topic is moving at a snails pace compared to the Cookeville, Riverdale topic. Maybe we're just more civilized.

Pass the gray Popounnnnnnnnnnnn, please

This Friday night there are no "bad" football games or mismatches. This is football at its best. To quote another movie, "This is the best of the best." The fans are all fired up and the players take it all to the field and leave it there. Good luck to each and every player :thumb:

I received this list from the Oak Ridge Boosters. It does not have anything to do with OR and Farragut, but it is still interesting to see where we all rank nationally. The original list has over 500 teams on it, so I only listed the top 100 programs from across the country. I bolded the teams from Tennessee...

AnchorsAway has got to be an Oak Ridge fan, nobody could actually believe all that crap, not even the Farragut players that post on here. Anchors, how could you have watched both teams all year long? Do you want us to believe you can be in 2 stadiums at the same time? Or did you get copies of the game films from the OR coaches? Yeah right!

I think 'ole Anchors is looking at this game through some might powerful Navy colored glasses. I think Oak Ridge is the slightly better team, but I don't totally discount Farragut's chances in this game. I do think that Farragut played their worst game this year against OR, and I also think that OR played one of their best against FHS, however, that doesn't translate to Farragut being better than OR. I don't know how Anchors is arriving at that conclusion.

I do think that if both teams play at their very best, that it will be a whale of a good high school football game, but that Oak Ridge will come out slightly on top. That is unless Farragut catches a break or two.

Sure do wish I could be there for this one !!!

The only breaks that would help Farragut are the R and L legs of SG. LOL :thumb:

Last time we played at Oak Ridge there is no doubt the wheels fell off early, but now we have some guys back on D. Oak Ridge and their simple coaching staff won't be able to run toss right and toss left. This time we will score at least 28 pts. Oak Ridge don't be so ready for the Semi's because we got something for ya!

Admirals all the way to state

Toss right, toss left, and lets not forget about the trap. If Farragutless had a coaching staff they would have adjusted to the plays on defense but they never did. Our motto is "run it till they stop it". You didn't stop it then and you won't stop it this friday either. "simple coaching staff" you wish. At least Farragutless will have a better basketball team come monday when all the football players that play basketball report to practice. You might as well tell your players to be ready to turn there stuff in monday. ROLL WILDCATS ROLL

LET THEM HATE AS LONG AS THEY RESPECT

never have been and never will be as good as Oak Ridge.

Oh shush. Farragut doesn't deserve to be called Farragutless. They have played some good football this season (especially against Ooltewah). And if Oak Ridge gets arrogant and/or looks ahead to the Riverdale/Cookeville game, then they could get distracted and let Farragut win. Any team that makes it through to the third round of play-offs shouldn't be called 'gutless' especially by someone from a team that got beaten by a team that the 'gutless' one whupped up on-- twice!

This should be a good game.

Go Cats!!!!--- stay focused and you will do great things!
