The Best Middle School Team In The State

The best girls team I have seen is Cleveland....I think they lost 1 game all year (to their cross county rival Ocoee) but they also beat Ocoee twice, including the James Haile championship game. They play at breakneck speed, are overly aggressive and have size and depth.

Ocoee is a tough team. Cleveland must be a good team to beat them... Did Cleveland play Harris Middle (Shelbyville) or Meigs County? If so, how close were the games.

Are y'all talking about a certain part of the state or the whole entire state? I never hear any metro nashville or memphis teams mentioned in these discussions. If you want to see whose best in Nashville come to the city championships tonight and see Head Middle Magnet (last years city champs) and Antioch Middle square off tonight.

No they played Ocoee and Harris lost by 4. Ocoee hit some free throw that pull away.

Harris lost two games all season one to Tullahoma East & Ocoee. Wish we had won and got to play Cleveland, but it was not meant to be this year.

Cornerstone Middle girls in Baxter is undefeated the past two seasons and are the two time champs in the AA Division of the James Haile Tournament. They beat their opponent in this years championship game 62-31. It's a shame that there isn't a true state championship game to really determine who is the best...
