REBELRON
Is this really true? This would hurt Alcoa because Reid has brought toughness and discipline to Alcoa. He also has a son that is starting center. I need for some Alcoa guys to confirm this. Bill#49
Coach Reid has been named the next head football coach at East Paulding High School in Dallas, Georgia. Sounds like another coach in Blount County. When the studs are gone they go looking for greener pastures.

I feel sorry for the people at East Paulding. Because if you've got any class right now, you want have in a few years! Reid is a classless and arrogant _ _ _!! Just one man's opinion but I'm sure more people would agree!

I'd agree with you if the team he's going to wasn't 3-7 last year, and last in their region.
Tom142
Well, I've heard from school superintendent Tom Shamblin that he's yet to turn in any letter of resignation, and he hasn't heard anything from Coach Reid, as of about 5 o'clock today. scballfan
Greener pastures----and greener paychecks!! Good luck to the coach. He could probably win another state championship in Alcoa---must really like support they give in GA.
Rebelsman
If this is true I am truely disappointed for the Alcoa players. How many jobs has he had? It's time for him to find a job and stick with it.
