<_< I don't know about an advantage, but it stinks that the game times aren't more conducive to actually having fans attend the games. I don't know whose decision the game times are, but there will be a huge difference in the attendance. Why in the heck would the last game of the day start at 6:30? School administrators never cease to amaze me. Their work day and everyone else's are entirely different. This one is going to hurt them in the pocketbook though. There's not much that can be done about the first 2 games, but the second 2 would have better attendance if they started an hour to an hour and a half later.

What's wrong with 3:30,5:00,6:30 and 8:00 start times?

Go get em' ksgovols! lol. I agree

Pretty sure the powers that be at TSSAA had something to do with the times. They had to get permission to have 4 games on Monday.

Somehow that doesn't surprise me at all redhawk1. Does T$$AA get part of the gate at district? I don't think so, but it'd be nice if they were cutting their own throats.

We've got 3 in county teams and Creekwood 30 minutes away for girls and boys. They aren't even saving anybody travel time. What'd Forrest Gump's mama say? "stupid is as stupid does"

TSSAA does get part of the gate.

I do not know how things are set up to go beyond tomorrow. With the new TSSAA rule, I am not sure if the district will be allowed to play all four games on Tuesday, or if they will have to play on Tuesday and Wednesday.

For the sake of the teams in the district, I hope they finish it up on Tuesday. It just allows more time to get prepared for opponents in the region tournament.

    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
    • They do have good community support for sure and did when I coached under Z for 4 years. (I was on that staff that turned them around a little from winning 1 game a year to actually being competitive).  Great Kids and Great Community over there.  They have done some good things with the facilities from when i coached too.
    • I personally will not mind that one bit.  It seems like a really strange fit to me from the git go.
