I thought the topic of this board was "DB state champs?". DB's success against South does not correlate to playoff victories, so you can keep talking about DB's win streak until you're blue in the face. South and DB have the same number of playoff state championships, 0. A 5A team should beat a 4A team, why else would there be classifications?

 

Despite regular season success, DB usually does not fare as well in the playoffs. Whether this is due to west and middle Tennessee dominance, or a lack of local competition to make the Tribe better, or both, is subject to debate. I do disagree with Rebel96 though. DB does not find a way to lose in the playoffs, they are just beaten by better teams.

I think if DB keeps playing like they have been and dont loose focus or intensity they will do just fine in the play-offs hopefuly state champs this team of seniors have been watched since 8th grade and has been expected to do great things and i think they will
