GotSpeed
Oneida will shut Hampton down with ease. Hampton does not have the extraordinayry weapons needed to consistently move the ball on a great Indian defense. They struggled to move the ball on the cellar team in Region 1. It was only 7-0 at halftime and it should have been 7-7. Without the services of Adam Townsend, Hampton has struggled with what once was inferior opponents, but now the dogs are very mortal. Look for an early round exit. Bottom line score Hampton-40 Cloudland-10 Thats why theres 4 quarters. GotSpeed
I beg to refute some of your assessments Tiger1024: 1. I don't see how balance is such a problem for a team that is equally able to stop the run and pass. Oneida's D doesn't have a particular strength over the run or pass, but they manage bend often without breaking. I would say they have been very good over the course of the season in the Red Zone. I have no doubt you will move the ball, but they make plays when they have to on most nights. 2. The Indians have done an excellent job of overcoming teams with good size by utilizing excellent quickness. They have young, athletic players among the front seven, and they are clearly improving for game to game. I feel safe in saying that Hampton will NOT field a bigger line than York Institute, whom the Indians played two weeks ago. Oneida lost that game, but the final three quarters were played to a draw. 3. The Dog Pound?!?! The Indians have been to various locations over the years that will make the "Dog Pound" seem tame in comparison. I really don't think the site is gonna have near as much impact as the distance they have to travel. However, if the Indians get off the bus ready to play, then they could play at Neyland Stadium and it wouldn't effect them. 4. Adam Townsend. I'd think the Bulldogs would want to do well without Townsend, just to shut their critics up that say they are a one man team. You gotta admit, since Townsend has been out, there have been some doubters out there. I got another Adam for ya, Adam Jeffers......its his last go round and I'm sure he is looking to keep Townsend from playing again this year if he and his mates prove worthy of the task. You won't miss him, he's a Brandon Davis clone. 5. Better than what? You think just because you made that statement that we are all just going to stay at home and hide. Come on, your going to have to dig a little deeper than that, Tig. If they beat us, we'll shake their hands and go home, but I don't think the boys are just gonna buy that last one fella. Kaz Heres something to refute: Micheal Lunsford, Dustin Milhorn, Dustin Roberson, Josh Cole, EJ Newbern, Luke Blackmon, Dylan Ellis, Dustin Jaynes, Adam Townsend, Bryan Roberson, Chris Lipford. Adam Taylor, Jared Irick, Jonathan Nichols, Curtis Carden, Matthew Street, D.J Oliver, Cory McKinney, Hugh McGrath, Jeremy Street, Logan Andrews, Mario Pahuamba, Blake Russell, Will Davis, Trey Rachell, Daniel Estep, Troy Rachell, Mathew Dugger, Lukus Eklund, Joe Lee George, Richard Forrester, Zach Thorton, Jacob McKinney, Steven Roop, Timmy Campbell, Lucas Teague, Jason Lyons, Jonathan Lyons, Alex Chambers, Andy Hardin ENOUGH SAID! Got speed...let's face it. Region 1 will not sweep all 4 games in the first round...so maybe you should stick with just one team (perferably Hampton, they have the best shot), that way people won't be able to laugh in your face if any of your picks turn out to be wrong. Guest Shocker0
Maybe you ought to start dribbling a basketball, cause Sunbright is out. Yeah, but heck...at least Sunbright hung closer with Coalfield than Unaka ever would. Is that why you need to console yourself by picking on other teams that are better than yours, waterboy. And with how Sunbright played Coalfield, I know that they would be at least 3rd in Region 1...but it looks like you'll be having to prep for basketball season after Harriman rolls over your little Rangers...they'll go down first round just like every year...but good luck, cause youll need it. pujo
Pujo, Gut Wrench Gary says be realistic. Hampton will not being going to Murfreesboro this year. Coalfield will be representing region 1 and 2 in the semifinals. I doubt they can beat any of the top region 3 or 4 teams. Gut Wrench Gary says Pujo should join him for the Cosby/Midway game. Gut Wrench Gary will buy Pujo's dinner at Ryans if you come. Gut Wrench Gary might even let you take the Hummer for a spin. Have you got some fellers with machine guns, thats the only way I'm driving that Hummer. You sound like you've got more nerve than good sense.. Trust me ,Hampton can hang with anyone. If they can make it through the first two rounds without Adam Townsend, the sky is the limit ,what they can do with him. And I will be perfectly honest, if Hampton don't show up Friday night, the season stops. Oneida is about as good as anyone in region 2. Rangerbook06
after Harriman rolls over your little Rangers You mean just like they rolled over your little Tigers??? What was it. 42-13??? Well they may or may not win, but I GARUNTEE you it will be more of a game than that... In the mean time, ya'll ought to worry about how you guys are gonna beat those hardwood power-houses like Jellico and J. Frank White!!!
