FHS_Admiral
Man this game could truly go either way. Farragut won the reg. season matchup by 1 pt. 17-16 on a last second field goal. I think it could be that close again. Blount scares the heck out of me because that was some feat pulling off the upset in Kingsport. I'm hoping that WB will still be riding the high of their upset next week and that will keep them from being totally at their best against Farragut. Therefore, with that hope, I'll say: Admirals 20 Govs 17 But like I said, you can flat flip a coin on this game ! It will be a classic !!! ihavenofriendzz
How is the field looking over there in Concord er... Farragut? the field looks alot better than when they were playin Oak Ridge.. they had a helicopter fly over it for a hr or so to help dry it off on thrusday and a 6ton steamroller rolled around on it for i think 24hrs straight. but yeah its alot better. lovehsfootball
Hey Frienzz..have you noticed how no one is even checking this site out? Nobody is even talking about this game? All I see on here is how WB can't wait for a rematch with Ooltewah. Guess they figure they can beat the Admirals now that they beat DB. I think that Farragut will beat WB. Just wondered if you noticed that all anyone is talking about is the game last week and the game AFTER they beat Farragut.Take a look around. TG is saying can't wait for the rematch with Ooltewah. Oh well. the field looks alot better than when they were playin Oak Ridge.. they had a helicopter fly over it for a hr or so to help dry it off on thrusday and a 6ton steamroller rolled around on it for i think 24hrs straight. but yeah its alot better. Oh well. That's a very good thing. We want WB to be looking forward to a rematch with Ooltewah. If WB is still celebrating the win over DB and overlooking the Admirals by expecting a rematch with Ooltewah, then I think Farragut will take this game. I sure hope the WB players are thinking like their fans.
reaction
I am pulling for William Blount. I want a round 2 of William Blount vs Ooltewah. The first one was classic, and I'm sure after all that went on, the Govs want another shot. William Blount by 10.

Coach Meadows knows that, the players know that, and the fans do too. I'm pumped that we get another shot at the Ads. All I have said about the Ooltewah game is that I hope we win, so, if we win this one, we get another shot at them too. Not looking past Farragut in any way. Oh well. Man, I can't speak for the rest of the WB folks, but I promise you I'm not overlooking Farragut. WB is most certainly the underdog in this match-up. It's just awesome to still have another game to play ... to still be alive in the playoffs in round two. WB is in some "rarefied air" playing a second round game. I believe we've only been there 2 other times in the history of the school. I hope it is as good of a game as their last match-up and hopefully WB catches the breaks this time instead of Farragut. Both teams are very deserving to be where they are. As far as Ooltewah is concerned ... I believe anyone associated with WB would love to envision another game with them. The way we lost to them early in the season was so hard to swallow ... the only solace we could take away (fans & players) was, "let's play ourselves into another shot at them." But a lot has to happen to get that chance ... we have to figure out a way to beat a really, really strong Farragut team and Ooltewah has to get past Sevier County (which is just as tall an order as William Blount beating the Admirals). Trust me, true WB folks won't get "cocky" after beating DB ... we know it gets tougher this week. We just feel real fortunate to be here. Anybody from WB that says any different, LovesHSfootball, you can just ignore them.
