californiastars
I have heard a lot of great things about the Bennett kid. Some of the kids on the team told me he could play for anyone in town, including the Alcoas, Maryvilles, etc., and be a huge impact player. It's too bad he attends CAK and will not receive as much attention as he would at some of the aforementioned programs.

ILuvsports
Alcoas sommer to this date has been offered by tennessee, south carolina and west virginia yesterday. hes also getting strong attention and offers coming soon from notre dame, michigan, colorodo and others. Cobb is getting looked the strongest by ole miss, they even attended the state game because they wanted to see him play in person. More than likely going to be turned into a slot wr or corner. Douglass from maryville has got to be the number 1 recruit in the state for next year. shiver is also a player who should get looked at and ive been very impressed with burnette from day 1 He is a D-1A type of player. montague1
Hightower from Marshall is getting serious looks from lousiville, vandy,ut,ohio state, ole miss, miss.state, clemson, and bama I don't know who's looking at Hightower, but he should be a big time prospect and have hughe numbers next year. I don't know what the knew coach will do at Marshall Co., but someone with that kids size and speed could be a beast at LB and FB.
926
One of the Top QB Prospects in the state is Brent Burnette of maryville. After watching Saturdays 4A state championship game on TV he is obviously the best pro style QB in the state. I had heard of this kid previously but not had the opportunity to see him play. Against a powerful Hillsboro team which i am familar he threw 3 TD's, 10-15, 215yds. as a co-starter. While playing for an extremely talented maryville team Burnette displayed the arm strength, accuracy and intangibles to succeed at the next level. Nothing against this kid, but I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with the statement about him being the best pro-style QB in TN. He's good, but not as good as Connor Lowery from CPA. If Maryville had Lowery, they would have been ranked even higher than 16 in the nation.

Though a Sr., he is further along than Burnette as far as D1 skills. JMHO. Burnette is a talent though, no doubt.
Middle Tennessee Football
I don't know who's looking at Hightower, but he should be a big time prospect and have hughe numbers next year. I don't know what the knew coach will do at Marshall Co., but someone with that kids size and speed could be a beast at LB and FB. I don't think Hightower was used very well this year. I expect him to put up some impressive numbers his senior year to go along with the impressive physical gifts he already has.
