Solomon
All right, the games are over and the top team in each class has been crowned. Let's have some fun and do it the way college does and decide who the best team in the state is. School with the most votes wins. Poll will close on Sunday the 10th (assuming there isn't a lot of smack talk and it gets shut down before then). If you care to, rank them 1-8 in a post too. Keep it clean, keep it fun. My rankings: 1. Maryville 2. Fulton 3. Brentwood Academy 4. Alcoa 5. Smyra 6. Webb 7. JCS 8. Davidson Academy
mcwrestler
1. Maryville (No question in my mind) 2. Fulton (Beat Alcoa so they have to be above them) 3. Alcoa (Played like champs all year, dominating in almost every game) 4. Brentwood Academy (Beat McCallie, tough team from what I have heard) 5. Smyrna (5A is all I know, didn't look like a Maryville in state game) 6. Webb (Don't know about 6,7,8 except Webb should be better than the other 2) 7. JCS 8. Davidson Academy

montague1
I'll have to go with 1. Maryville 2. Fulton 3. Alcoa 4. Brentwood Academy 5. Smyrna 6. Webb 7. JCS 8. Davidson Academy
mikey65
Why is Smyrna being ranked so low?
mcwrestler
Because people have their own opinions and apparently they don't believe that the "mighty" 5A division is anything very special. They couldn't beat Maryville I am confident of, Fulton and Alcoa are both just fast and talented. Alcoa had 5A talent as some people have said, and Maryville has college coaching.
