Who is the asst. at MW that is looking at the WG job, have heard over the weeked that he was offered the job. Anybody know anything else?

 

 

You have to be kidding, Joe Case what does he know, how to lose a track meet because everyone does not match. Joe is not the DC at MW!!! Has he every been a DC? I think West Greene better rethink or it is going to be a bad move on their behalf. The way I understand is the job is not going to be offered until sometime in March. Good luck with the Buffalos on hiring a new Head Coach.

with all the talk about the west greene job could anyone put out a list of names that anyone feels is a potential hire or names that have been batted around

I'm back!!! Been out of the Country on business. Now to your question, who will the next coach be, well I can't tell you but there is a done deal already for the Head Coach!

If they have their head coach why don't they make it official. They are just going to hurt the program and the boys who are playing.

      during the 2nd round of the playoffs last year against Milan, Gray partially tore his meniscus. He had a minor repair around Thanksgiving. Recovery time was minimal and he has been full force for baseball this season.

      Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.

      Maryville will recapture the loses from last year against West, Bradley and Farragut. The Bearden game will be the tough one but I look for the wheels to come off that ride somewhere down the road because of all the crap that goes on there. I know to many parents there and some of the things I've been told and some of the post a few of them have made on facebook. They all can't be liars.

      If Heritage moves down and Alcoa moves up the best thing for Heritage is to do what William Blount did when theystopped playing Maryville or meet certain defeat. Honestly can't see Alcoa not moving up the way the county is growing. Might be in the Mountaineers best interest to stay in 5A because none of those teams on their schedule are anything close to Alcoa.
