riverdaleman
QUOTE(ksgovols @ Mar 1 2007 - 12:41 AM) 826394434Somebody find the last 8AAA team that went undefeated during the regular season! I don't doubt they're tough, just not that tough. Undefeated in this district is unheard of. I don't know if it's ever been done. Did tullahoma do it 2 years ago? ksgovols
QUOTE(riverdaleman @ Mar 1 2007 - 08:17 PM) 826395897Did tullahoma do it 2 years ago? Nope. 10-2. Lost to Columbia and Shelbyville during the season. I doubt it's ever been done. The district has just been tough over the years. A Tullahoma team would be the best bet though. I'll just go on the record to say that I seriously doubt that Lincoln County is going to go undefeated in this district.

The current 8AAA district in baseball started in 1979. Prior to that, Columbia Central was in a district with the Nashville teams plus Franklin. LC lost three straight this weekend, and got hammered by riverdale which FC tied. when every1 starts playing each other is when we will really tell who is the best. Proverbial
Cass signed with Tennessee Tech to play football and plans to walk on for basketball. Lincoln County will win the district. Columbia will be on their heels.
