yes..Cats put the bat on the ball and made some key plays when they needed them. FC had some critical errors. Rickets left the game early

Saw on another thread where Lawrence beat Coffee. No undefeateds left. That is what makes 8AAA such a treat to be a part of. Has to be one of the most even and competetive districts around. We get the big rematch tonight at Columbia tonight, then everyone steps back, reloads, and gets ready for another "big" week next week. Lawrence County won 11-10. The game was 1-0, 2-0, 2-2, 8-2, 10-8 and 11-10 with Lawrence County scoring the go ahead run in the bottom of the 6th with Blake Rogers scoring the go ahead run on a passed ball. Brady Hutton got the win in relief of Drew Stoffel. Ben Aaron took the loss.

Stofel for Lawrence county threw a great ball game through 6 and a third. errors behind him and him tiring changed complexion of game. as it stands, seems like 8AAA is kinda a toss up. anyone can win when they make the plays. should be interesting.
