bipbopzot
I saw Mcminn play in the jamboree, and they didn't look all that impressive to me,but,I know some coaches don't show anything in those games. Ooltewah 42....Mcminn 7,or owls 28....Mcminn 14,if cherokees can throw and run to keep ball away from the owls.
logcabinman
What is everyone's thoughts on this region 2-5a match-up? Ooltewah 38 McMinn 7 McMinn offense consist of one player, Devon Johnson. Good, but Ooltewah will key on him. I think that the McMinn offense will put their defense in bad spots all night. Defense will play hard but can not overcome the play makers of Ooltewah.
Oskie1
I say Ooltewah wins this one because McMinn willl not be abel to score enough points to keep up with the high powered offense that the owls have. Not to mention I don't know if McMinn can slow Ooltewah down when they are on offense. As much as i would like to see the cherokees win this one I say: Ooltewah 42 McMinn
HornedOwl
I think Ooltewah will jump out big in the first half 21-0 or 28-7. Coach will use the 2nd half to test players and plays in game conditions to get ready for WB. Final Owls 35 Cherokees

Final Owls 35 Cherokees 14 Ooltewah needs to jump out quick, if they dont and let McMinn hang around, big Mo may turn black and gold. Thats a big IF! ORcat14
I think this game will be closer than most people think. McMinn consistantly has a good team and they have alot of talented players coming back. Plus they are playing at McMinn which can be a difficult place to play at. I'ml taking the upset McMinn 24-

jon26
Hate to hear that a senior (at least I think he is a senior) would quite his last year...no matter what. Proud that Brady Reed is off to a great start. He was at the Baylor home game last week and it was good to see him. Good luck to the Owls and Brady this season. Looks like it will be a great year for the Owls. Go Baylor. A 6' 3" sophmore that can play.
TheLivingLegend
Coach Benny Monroe is another legend. Heck he has a stadium named after him that he no longer plays in. He is now building a machine at Ooltewah. The young ladds at Ooltewah pull this one out by 28.

I'ml taking the upset McMinn 24-21 Coach Monroe played his high school football at Mcminn. His coach was Ace Adams, the present Mcminn's coach grandfather.Coach Monroe coached there for many years too . Mcminn is 0-how ever many times they have played against Coach Monroe. NEVER beaten a Benny Monroe team EVER. Won't happen friday night either. Monroe being a NORTH ATHENS boy won't allow it Ooltewah by whatever it takes.
