OK, wasted talent.Among the wasted talent was two of the best athletes on the team. When you start taking speed off the field as well as some of your best linemen getting hurt, it makes for a rough road. Add in one of the toughest three games any team in the state has played and bad things will happen

Wasted talent is right on the money, DBDAD. The Raider I was refering to always reminded me of one of the best LB's, most wasted talent, and tragic death of a DB player.....Steve Sallings.

I certainly agree with the rest of your post....very insightful.

Uh-Oh. This sounds like one of those Scottish controversies. Have you been peaking under her skirt? Is it a man or a woman, or somewhere in between? LOL

I can tell you don't live in Kingsport or you would know this is not a joke. We actually have a Transvestite that awards the player of the week.

I really hope you two are not referring to B.B. at North as wasted talent. I could pick 10 kids that are on the team now that are more talented than that joker.HERE Kitty, Kitty!Good luck to DB and the glow in the dark city.Roll Tribe.

Ok, so how does everybody feel about a Transvestite presenting the "Player of the Week" award at DB this year?

If he/she/it wants to keep throwing money toward the program, than I have no problem with it. On the other hand I think the locker room is definitely off limits to R.R. Wonder which bathroom he/she/it uses?

If I may ask, what great "wasted talent" are you referring to?

What's the latest on the weather? Are there any umbrella restrictions at J Fred?

It has been raining pretty good all day...100% chance of afternoon rain (calling for some hard rain) changing to 40% tonight, so it should rain all game and temps in the 70's (brrrrrr). As far as umbrellas, there is a sign in the stadium stating that umbrella use is discouraged (or words to that affect)...so bring your poncho

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
