28 hours and counting til OWL FOOTBALL! I hope we have as many fans there as the"home" team. Owls fans usually travel well. Car pool, do whatever, just get there and support our team. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

GO OWLS!

well Bearden is only 1 side so get there early. I am sure there will be a bunch of Bearden people because it isn't very often, atleast recently, that they host a playoff game.. Atleast it is only an hour or so away instead of when Ooltewah played at DB in the first round where it was like 3 or more hours away.

Deal with it , it happened six weeks ago and its over. Anyways, what does this have to do with the playoff game even if the kid was punished it wouldn't have been for the entire season and we would have the same team we have now. I'm sure none of the angles in bearden have gotten into any trouble.

i think it is a bad situation that happened and many are regretful. but you have to realize that it will never go away. they will look back as this as the 'year of the fight in georgia' or something to that extent. i still hear people talk about the 2000 maryville team that had players dismissed before season because they were convicted of counterfeit and money laundering. that team started 0-4 and then on to win the last 11 and the state title. that just shows you that even a great season will not totally erase the bad memories from off the field.

You're probably right. It's the mis-information that gets everyone riled up.

Speaking of misinformation.................anyone who thinks Ooltewah will get rolled over has been sadly misinformed of their ability. The Owls are a dangerous team, especially when things are clicking. Ooltewah is well prepared for this game, Owls by 7.

GO OWLS!!!

    • look at the leadership
    • Biggest position to fill is QB. Kamden was special. A 1A team that can run and pass is very dangerous.
    • That would have been Coach Benjamin who was his legal Guardian and the DB coach.  I was the LB's Coach that was barely older than the players (I was going to UT for school and had started at Greeneville since my Sophomore year when Z coached there and he asked me to help coach)
    • Going on over a month now and still nothing, rumor mill or not I think a decision needs to be made. Maybe they don’t have anyone wanting it and maybe rumor mill don’t need it they are taking this long to come to an agreement.
    • Gibson County proved last year you can win it all with 6 players and if I’m not mistaken they only played 5 in the championship game. I would expect them to be good by end of season but I think losing Hart is a huge loss.  Summer camp gives teams a preview of what to expect and it’s exciting to see where teams are at. The Fillies return 3 starters and the 6th man that is 6’2” and I think she is going to surprise folks this season.
