In the first game West and MHS both had the same stats like each team had 300 yards passing and 70 yards rushing. Maryville??™s running game is a great deal better now than then. Maryville is better balanced. I see a real air show coming but Maryville and West need their run games to produce 150 yards at least to insure a win.

 

Maryville will have to do a better job of keeping the ball and controlling the clock to win this game.

West's rushing attack is also much improved. They won against Powell and Central on the backs of Klotzbach and Thomas. Plus the D is improved and rest assured Jake Ryan will come to play. I think it will be a good game

I will have to go with Maryville in this battle of the rebels. Coach Q will have is guys prepped and ready to for battle.

Not to say anything bad about Maryville, but compared to the last couple of years, they look beatable this year. If a team brings there "A" game and limits there mistakes they can beat Maryville. With how the defense has tightened up since the last meeting, I am hoping the team with the "A" game is the West Rebels. They made a few mistakes against Brainerd, and played a balanced game. If they limit the mistakes they can pull this off this week.
