Sevier County beat Maryville last year in the district tournament and yet not in the top 40 this year lets think in the top 4 of arguably the best district in the state loose a couple seniors none irreplacable and no love this year?

how is overton ranked so high?? they must have returned everyone from last season..and another thing dickson co. all the way to 17th?? i hope this is just based off of scrimmage results rather than actual prediction of how good these teams are..

Hey MJ not bad.....Really no complaints here, it"s early. I was wondering what folks thought about the Bearden/ Cleveland 2-2 tie. And does that or will that affect your standings.

I believe that Sweetwater should be at least ranked in the top 30. They didnt lose any seniors the last 2 years and got a really good Freshman class in. They just came off a big win against Red Bank in a scrimmage this week. They might be one to look out for.

Who does Sweetwater play next week? Don't they have a game with CSAS on Friday?

Just wondering how these are picked MJ?..I know you usually do them based on games, so I am assuming you did them by scrimmage results, as faulty as that might be. Farragut 3 Baylor 0, McCallie 2 Farragut 0...Just seeing how the rankings make since if your using the scrimmage results..I can understand it if it is just your opinion of whose better though..

where is west? why are they not in the Top 10 East Tn team list?

PinballWizard....you place way too much emphasis on scrimmage results. In scrimmages all players are not always there....not playing in projected positions, jv, injuries. Until the real season starts and the teams are set with their full teams actually playing....then fun begins. I really don't think MJ worries about scrimmages when he does this. Maybe more like....how teams did last year, how many quality players eact team has back, etc. This is just a place to start.
