ndsoccer88
I think MJ does not rely on scrimmage results...as he probably knows that teams are not always playing with a full deck so to speak. Let's wait for the real season to start and not put too much stock into scrimmages. MJ knows what he is doing. Just wondering how these are picked MJ?..I know you usually do them based on games, so I am assuming you did them by scrimmage results, as faulty as that might be. Farragut 3 Baylor 0, McCallie 2 Farragut 0...Just seeing how the rankings make since if your using the scrimmage results..I can understand it if it is just your opinion of whose better though.. everyone makes mistakes /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

UNCsoccerfan
Who does Sweetwater play next week? Don't they have a game with CSAS on Friday? Sweetwater hosts a playday tomorrow and then starts their season off on Tuesday against Silverdale.
ktownman
I think what Pinball may be saying is that he doesnt think that it is reliable to rank on the basis of the preseason scrimmages Which I totally agree I don't really see how Farragut fell from number 1 in mjuhb's first set of preseason rankings to number 3, with only playing scrimmages, nothing can really be known until the regular season. Coniglio
Oh chill out you impatient people. All MJ does for the first week of rankings is sneeze and where everyone lands is where they go.
PinballWizard
I think I may have to re think my posts from now on..because only one person understood what I meant.. Haha My apologies I think scrimmage results are bogus too, thats why I was wondering where the ranks came from..Just a simple question. But the sneeze conclusion could very well be right! WhatUpYo
Overton lost a ton of players and i dont think they have the depth to back it up Don't take these rankings like they are set in stone and if one team is ahead of you it is the end of the world How good are the top 4 from last year, meaning, Bearden, Farragut, Brentwood and Blackman? Who has the most returning players and such? What happened to farragut when mcallie won, 2nd team give up the goals or just sloppy field or mcallie just better? Also mjuhb does t agreat job in these rankings and its hard to get everybody perfect on there ranking because thats just too much to ask from one person. Keep up the good work! akula21
Bearden 8 Alcoa 0 Ouch, Thanks to Bearden for coming over to play. Wish it had been a tougher match. I wanted to see where we are at very early and this showed me many things we need to teach and learn. Hate getting beat this bad, but Bearden was playing some great soccer and it was good to expose the new starters and reserves to what a high level of soccer. We lost, but we also became a better team for playing this game. Good luck to turner and the dogs.
