BEAVO5, MAY VERY WELL BE THE MOST EXCITING GAME DAY 1 . I BELIVE DC HAS ALL ANSWERS TO WHAT CPA BRINGS TO THE TABLE >> TOO MANY WEAPONS FOR DC . REGARDLESS OF WHAT MANY MAY THINK DC IS FAR FROM A ONE MAN TEAM..ALL PLAY AS A "TEAM" ..WHEN 1 ISNT AT THE TOP OF THEIR GAME ..POOF ANOTHER CHOCTAW PROVIDES ENERGY TO KEEP THEIR TEAM ON TRACK!! DC == TOO MANY WEAPONS !!!!!!!!!!!

GO CHOCTAWS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it should be a great game!! Good Luck and GO CHOCTAWS!!!

DHFB6......I have Seen DC four times this season. All I can say it that whoever the statman is he deserves a gold medal. I couldn't possibly keep the stats for this team. Heck It's hard for me to keep up with them just by watching and the statman has to chart pretty much every stat of every game. I agree this is not a one man team..It remains to be seen but I saw where the DC coach said he had 8 players that will play at the next level...that would most likely be a mix of D1 and NAIA but none theless impressive.

the stat people have a tough enough job keeping up with the choctaws, that they split the games up.

richard ross and tina pope do a fine job keeping the books.

I wouldn't worry about CPA being ready. If they are shooting well and Z is "on", DC will have more than conditioning to worry about.

CPA will have to be on the money for 32 mins or they'll be watching the game from the top of the bleachers. This DC team may be small but there is not a team in the state with bigger hearts or a bigger desire to bring home the gold ball. These kids are /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />

Good Luck to you and UC! And you will probably have the DC faithful right behind UC since we only have to switch 1 letter /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

I have seen DC play twice and CPA twice. Both are very good teams and this game will be a great one to watch thats for sure!! CPA should win by 10 or so if they can break DC's press but if they have a problem with it then DC will come out on top. CPA has a huge advantage in the post but DC is very athletic so its a toss up but i'm picking CPA to win in a nail biter!!

From your "screen name" I admire your loyalty to Middle Tennessee Teams (as we are faithful to our West Tennessee Teams as well) ! However the LARGEST word you used in your post is the always larger than life two letter word "IF" ......... they can break the press. I have read that CPA has a very good "Big Man", that being said, Booker T had DC outsized in the paint with excellent guard s as well. I have posted on here countless times in both football & basketball that I DO NOT make predictions. This is not out of fear but the fact that I am VERY supersticious. Nail biter .................. MAYBE ! But the DC press hasn't been a "party" for any opponent this season. The "Big Man" (all due respect seriously) is going to face fearless athleticism in the paint. If he puts the ball on the floor ....... quickness can offset size. I look for this to be a very good game to watch, but DC has faced size in the paint before. "Fast & Furious" YOU BET ! "Fast & Fearless" ........well you can take that to the bank ! RESPECT ALL & FEAR NONE ! Should be a GREAT game !

    • A lot of people don’t realize how valuable JMO was. QB, safety, punter and holder on pat’s. Kid did it all. I fully believe if he was healthy Dburg would have made it to the ship last year.
    • If Dyersburg quarterback who is also starting safety hadn’t got hurt it would of another blowout
    • For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with counties with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!
